One team, three flags, five days.

We're here to win the Badger Conference Challenge. AU, NZ and RSA pulling in the same direction across the three themes of the conference. Pick a theme below to jump in, or head to Team & Files to upload material.

The three themes

Each table competes across these. Each one of us owns a piece of all three.

Theme 01

Breaking Silos

How we connect across functions, geographies and brands inside the group — and what's blocking us today.

Theme 02

The Power of Brand

What brand really earns us, how we use it as a moat, and where we're under-investing.

Theme 03

AI Readiness & Adoption

Where we are on the curve, who's already shipping, and what it takes to lift the whole group.

Theme 01

Breaking Silos

Why the group plays smaller than the sum of its parts — and the moves that change that.

The problem, in one line

We have the right pieces in AU, NZ and RSA. They're often optimising for their own P&L instead of the group's.

What we're bringing to the table

Add your perspective here. Examples, war stories, things that have worked, things that haven't.

  • Cross-brand customer journeys — where do we hand off badly?
  • Shared services that should exist but don't
  • Decisions stuck because no one owns them at group level

Theme 02

The Power of Brand

Brand as the cheapest, most durable competitive advantage we own.

Why brand wins

It lowers customer acquisition cost. It lets you charge more. It compounds. It's the one thing competitors can't copy overnight.

Where we stand

  • PetX — parent group, default brand for internal & B2B
  • Knose — consumer pet insurance & wellness, distinct identity
  • Clean Break — switching service, distinct identity

Question for the room: are we under-leveraging the parent or over-fragmenting the portfolio?

Theme 03

AI Readiness & Adoption

From experiments to default. Where the group sits, and how we move it.

The honest baseline

Pockets of strong adoption sitting next to teams who haven't started. The risk isn't AI doing something bad to us. It's competitors moving while we debate.

Three moves we could argue for

  1. Default Claude / Cowork access for every knowledge worker, with skills installed.
  2. An "AI lead" inside every BU, not just centralised.
  3. One measurable productivity goal per function per quarter.
